'r'"' Petition 2009-03-06-01 Submitted by the City Planning Commission
On Wednesday, June 10, 2009, the above hearing was held at the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
Council Vice President Godfroid-Marecki at 7 00 p m Present: Brian Meakin,
John Pastor, Joe Laura, and Terry Godfroid-Marecki Absent: James McCann,
Thomas Robinson, and Laura Toy
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other
requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled
Council Vice President Godfroid-Marecki stated that in accordance with
the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan
1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584),
as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to
the following rezoning requests
Petition 2009-03-06-01 submitted by the City Planning
Commission, pursuant to Council Resolutions #98-09 and Section
23 01(a) of Livonia Zoning Ordinance, as amended, proposing to
amend Section 19 06 of Article XIX and Section 23 06 of Article
XXIII of the Zoning Ordinance in order to provide for a Mayoral veto
of waiver use and rezoning petitions

There were no individuals present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk
The public hearing was declared closed at 7 10 p m , Wednesday, June
10, 2009
