HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2008-11-10 BROWNFIELD ZONE 36951 PUBLIC HEARING RE THE ADOPTION OF A PROPOSED RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A BROWNFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FOR THE CITY OF LIVONIA AND DESIGNATING BOUNDARIES OF A BROWNFIELD REDEVELOPMENT ZONE On Monday, November 10, 2008, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President Toy at 7 00 p m Present: Brian Meakin, Don Knapp, Terry Godfroid-Marecki, and Laura Toy Absent. Thomas Robinson, James McCann, and Joe Laura Council President Toy stated that this was a public hearing regarding the adoption of a proposed resolution establishing a Brownfield Redevelopment Authority for the City of Livonia and designating the boundaries of a Brownfield Redevelopment zone in accordance with the provisions of the Brownfield Redevelopment Financing Act, being Act 381 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan of 1996, as amended (CR 427-08) There were twelve (12) individuals present in the audience regarding this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
