HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2007-11-28 MADONNA UNIVERSITY PROJECT 36522 PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER APPROVAL OF A PROJECT PLAN AND THE ISSUANCE OF THE BONDS PROPOSED THEREIN AS SUBMITTED TO THE LIVONIA CITY COUNCIL BY THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA FOR THE MADONNA UNIVERSITY PROJECT On Wednesday, November 28, 2007, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President McCann at 7 02 p m Present: Don Knapp, Brian Meakin, Terry Godfroid-Marecki, Joe Laura, Gerald Taylor, and James McCann Absent. Thomas Robinson Council President McCann stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Sections 10 and 17 of Act 338, Public Acts of Michigan of 1974, as amended, and of Section 147(k) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to approve the Project Plan and the issuance of the bonds proposed therein as submitted to the Livonia City Council by the Economic Development Corporation of the City of Livonia for the Madonna University Project.
