HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2006-10-18 IFEC FORD MOTOR PUBLIC HEARING RE APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE 35946 SUBMITTED BY FORD MOTOR COMPANY On Wednesday, October 18, 2006, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council Vice President Knapp at 7.01 p m Present: Brian Meakin, Terry Godfroid-Marecki, Joe Laura, Thomas Robinson, Gerald Taylor, and Don Knapp Absent James McCann Council Vice President Knapp stated that this was a public hearing on the question whether to approve the Application for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate submitted by Ford Motor Company, to cover the acquisition and installation of new equipment related to the manufacture of the 6R80 transmission and additional 6R60 transmissions at their Livonia Transmission Plant located at 36200 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150 (I D D No 1) There were ten (10) individuals present in the audience regarding this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
