PUBLIC HEARING RE: REQUEST SUBMITTED BY
RICHARD C. BLUMENSTEIN, MEMBER, INDUSTRIAL PROPERTIES, LLC,
DOVER DEVELOPMENT, ON BEHALF OF BODYCOTE THERMAL
PROCESSING, PROPOSING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN INDUSTRIAL
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 31888
GLENDALE, IN THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 27.
On Wednesday, August 23, 2006, the above hearing was held at
the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to
order by Council Vice President Knapp at 7 02 p m Present: Brian Meakin,
Terry Godfroid-Marecki, Joe Laura, Thomas Robinson, and Gerald Taylor, and
Don Knapp Absent: James McCann
Council Vice President Knapp stated that this was a public hearing
on the question whether this City Council should approve the request from
Richard C Blumenstein, Member, Industrial Properties, LLC, Dover
Development, on behalf of Bodycote Thermal Processing, for the establishment
of an Industrial Development District at 31888 Glendale, Livonia, Michigan 48150
within the boundaries of the City of Livonia in an area of approximately 1 68
acres lying in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 27 as more particularly described in the
attachment to the application which is hereby incorporated by reference and
which is hereinafter referred to as "Proposed City of Livonia Industrial
Development District No 103"
There were thirty-six (36) individuals present in the audience regarding
this matter

Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 07 p m , on Wednesday,
August 23, 2006
