HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2005-01-26 PETITION 2004-11-01-14 34973 (b) PUBLIC HEARING RE Petition 2004-11-01-14 submitted by Sarah Estates, LLC Petition 2004-11-01-15 submitted by Michigan Columbus Federal Credit Union On Wednesday, January 26, 2005, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President Taylor at 7 14 p m Present: Brian Meakin, Terry Godfroid- Marecki, Don Knapp, Frank J Kokenakes, James McCann, Thomas Robinson and Gerald Taylor Absent. None Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5.2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to the following rezoning requests 1 Petition 2004-11-01-14 submitted by Sarah Estates, LLC, requesting to rezone property at 34745 and 34655 Eight Mile Road, located on the south side of Eight Mile Road between Gill Road and Ellen Drive in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 4 from RUF to R-4 (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots to One Family Residential — 90'x120' Lots, and 34973 (c) 2 Petition 2004-11-01-15 submitted by Michigan Columbus Federal Credit Union requesting to rezone property at 30445 Six Mile Road, located on the south side of Six Mile Road between Oporto Street and Ryan Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 14 from RUF to OS (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots to Office Services There were twelve (12) individuals present in the audience on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
