PUBLIC HEARING RE APPLICATION FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES
EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE, SUBMITTED BY LAKE ERIE PRODUCTS
FOR THE FACILITY LOCATED AT 12955 INKSTER ROAD
On Monday, January 12, 2004, the above hearing was held at the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
Council President Taylor at 7 13 p m Present: Brian Meakin, Linda M Dolan
(arrived 7 18 p m ), Don Knapp, Frank J Kokenakes, Thomas Robinson and
Gerald Taylor
Council President Taylor stated that this was a public hearing on the
question whether to approve the Application for Industrial Facilities Exemption
Certificate submitted by Lake Erie Products to cover the purchase of machining
equipment from the Chrysler New Castle, Indiana Plant and provide automotive
parts back to the same plant at their property located at 12955 Inkster Road,
within City of Livonia Industrial Development District No 78
There were two (2) individuals present in the audience regarding this
matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 30 p m , on Monday,
January 12, 2004
