HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2004-02-23 PETITION 2003-10-01-19 34500 PUBLIC HEARING RE Petition 2003-10-01-19 submitted by Ann and Charles Deamud Petition 2003-11-01-20 submitted by Leo Soave Building Company On Monday, February 23, 2004, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Brian Meakin, Frank Kokenakes, Linda M Dolan, James McCann, Thomas Robinson, Don Knapp and Gerald Taylor Absent: None Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled Lop Council President Taylor stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A Section 5 2934, M C LA 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to the following rezoning requests 1 Petition 2003-10-01-19 submitted by Ann and Charles Deamud requesting to rezone property at 34449 Pinetree, located on the south side of Pinetree Avenue between Stark Road and Laurel Avenue in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 33 from RUF (Rural Urban Farm - 1/2 Acre Lots) to R-1 (One Family Residential —60' x 120' Lots) 2 Petition 2003-11-01-20 submitted by Leo Soave Building Company requesting to rezone property at 14657 Cavell, located on the west side of Cavell Avenue between Five Mile Road and Western Golf Drive in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24 from RUF (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots) to R-2 (One Family Residential — 70' x 120' Lots) 34501 There were eight (7) individuals present in the audience on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
