HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2004-06-28 PETITION 2004-04-01-04 34702 PUBLIC HEARING RE Petition 2004-04-01-04 submitted by Beverly Street Petition 2004-05-01-05 submitted by Michael and Reno Soave +rr On Monday, June 28, 2004, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President Taylor at 7 10 p m Present: Brian Meakin, Terry Godfroid-Marecki, Don Knapp, Frank Kokenakes, Thomas Robinson and Gerald Taylor Absent: James McCann Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance have been fulfilled Council President Taylor stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to the following rezoning requests 1 Petition 2004-04-01-04 submitted by Beverly Street requesting to rezone property located on the southwest corner of Fremont Avenue and Norfolk Avenue (29559 Norfolk) in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 2 from RUFA to R-3 (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots to One Family Residential — 80' x 120' Lots) 2 Petition 2004-05-01-05 submitted by Michael and Reno Soave requesting to rezone property located on the west side of Gill Road between Bretton Drive and Northland Drive (19751 Gill Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 4 from RUFB to R-2 (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots to One Family Residential — 70' x 120' Lots) 34703 There were nine (9) individuals present in the audience regarding this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
