PUBLIC HEARING RE PETITION 2003-01-06-01 SUBMITTED BY THE CITY
LPLANNING COMMISSION
On Monday, September 29, 2003, the above hearing was held the City
Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by
Council President Engebretson at 7.01 p m Present: Linda M Dolan, Gerald
Taylor, Maureen Miller Brosnan (arrived 7 04 p m ) and Jack Engebretson
Absent: Don Knapp, Joe Laura and Val Vandersloot.
Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the
provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921,
as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5.2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well
as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
L Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine
whether or not to amend Section 19 06(f) of Article XIX of the Zoning Ordinance
in order to give the City Council more flexibility with respect to waiver use
requirements
There were two (2) individuals present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 7 18 p m , Monday, September
29, 2003
