On Monday, October 6, 2003, the above hearing was held the City Hall,
33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council
President Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present. Don Knapp, Val Vandersloot,
Linda M Dolan, Gerald Taylor, Joe Laura, Maureen Miller Brosnan and Jack
Engebretson Absent: None
Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the
provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921,
as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A 125 584), as well
as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine
whether or not to amend Section 23 05 of Article XXIII of Zoning Ordinance No
543, as amended, in order to modify signage requirements for public notification
of properties proposed to be rezoned
There were sixteen (16) individuals present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 7 04 p m , Monday, October 6,
2003
