HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2002-10-02 PETITION 2002-06-01-07 33754 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONING PETITION On October 2, 2002, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilmember Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Jack Engebretson, Don Knapp, Val Vandersloot, Gerald Taylor, Joe Laura and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent: Linda M Dolan. Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance has been fulfilled Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act (MSA 5.2934, MCLA 25 584), as well as Article XXII of Ordinance No 543, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to rezoning request: Petition 2002-06-01-07, submitted Schonsheck, Inc., requesting to rezone property located on the north side of Seven Mile Road between Bethany Road and Victor Parkway in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 6, from RUFC to OS (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots to Office Services) There were twelve (12) individuals present in the audience on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk. 33755 The Public Hearing was adjourned at 7 56 p m , Wednesday, October 2, 2002 JOAN McCOTTER, CITY CLERK
