MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONING PETITION
On August 13, 2002, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilmember
Engebretson at TOO p m Present: Jack Engebretson, Don Knapp, Val
Vandersloot, Linda M Dolan, Gerald Taylor, Joe Laura and Maureen Miller
Brosnan Absent: None
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other
requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance has been fulfilled
Council President Engebretson stated that in accordance with the
provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921,
as amended, the City Zoning Act (MSA 5.2934, MCLA 25 584), as well as Article
XXII of Ordinance No 543, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to
rezoning requests
1 Petition 2002-06-02-08 submitted by Ardmore Development, L L C ,
requesting a change of zoning of property located on the east side
of Farmington Road between Seven Mile Road and Fargo Avenue
in the West of Section 3 from OS to R-3 and RC (Office Services to
One Family Residential — 80'x120' Lots and Condominium
Residential)
There were twenty-seven (27) individuals present in the audience on this
matter

LQuestions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was adjourned at 9.01 p m , Tuesday, August 13,
2002
