PUBLIC HEARING RE REQUEST SUBMITTED BY
JOSEPH A. LEONE II, ON BEHALF OF LEONE ENTERPRISES, INC.
DATED JUNE 7, 2002, PROPOSING THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF AN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
On August 19, 2002, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council
President Engebretson at 7 00 p m Present: Jack Engebretson, Don Knapp,
Maureen Miller Brosnan, Linda M Dolan, Joe Laura, Gerald Taylor and Val
Vandersloot, Absent: None
Council President Engebretson stated that this was a public hearing on
the question whether this City Council should approve the request from Joseph
A. Leone II, on behalf of Leone Enterprises, Inc., for the establishment of an
Industrial Development District within the boundaries of the City of Livonia in an
area approximately 12 90 acres lying in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 26, which is
hereinafter referred to as "Proposed City of Livonia Industrial Development
District No 86 "
There were three (3) individuals present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the
City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7.20 p m , Monday, August 19,
2002
