PUBLIC HEARING RE APPLICATION FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS

On January 9, 2002, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President
Engebretson at TOO p m Present: Gerald Taylor, Joe Laura [T06 p ], Maureen
Miller Brosnan, Don Knapp, Val Vandersloot, Linda Dolan and Jack Engebretson
Council President Engebretson stated that this was a public hearing on the
question of whether to approve the Application for Telecommunications Permit submitted
by Dennis Powers, Construction Supervisor, Consumers Energy on behalf of Terry A.
Herdman, Assistant Director, Data Management Services, Livonia Public Schools, for
the installation of approximately 28 miles of aerial cable that includes 5 75 miles on
major roads, 1,150 feet on local roads, and the balance within easement areas
There were three (3) persons present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 35 p m on Wednesday, January 9,
2002.
