PUBLIC HEARING RE. PETITION 00-10-2-31 SUBMITTED BY RITE
AID OF MICHIGAN, INC., REQUESTING WAIVER USE APPROVAL TO
UTILIZE AN SDD LIQUOR LICENSE IN CONNECTION WITH ITS PHARMACY
BUSINESS LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EIGHT MILE ROAD,
BETWEEN MERRIMAN ROAD AND MILBURN AVENUE, IN THE
NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 2

On August 8, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilmember Brosnan at
7.03 p m Present: Val Vandersloot, John Walsh, Jack Engebretson and Maureen Miller
Brosnan Absent: Brian Duggan, Joe Laura and John Pastor
Council President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question
of whether to approve the waiver use to utilize an SDD liquor license at 31245 W Eight
LMile Road in the City of Livonia, Michigan
There were five (5) persons present on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The attorney for Rite Aid of Michigan, Inc. was unable to attend this meeting and
had previously requested the hearing to be re-scheduled
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 04 p m , Wednesday, August 8, 2001
