HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2001-08-08 TELEPORT COMMUNICATIONS GROUP 33111 LPUBLIC HEARING RE TELECOMMUNICATIONS PERMIT APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY TELEPORT COMMUNICATIONS GROUP, INC (TCG DETROIT) REQUESTING APPROVAL FOR ACCESS TO AND ONGOING USE OF THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAYS WITHIN THE CITY FOR A PROPOSED TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM UTILIZING APPROXIMATELY 14.25 MILES OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY. [CR 489-01] On August 8, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilmember Brosnan at 7 31 p m Present: Val Vandersloot, John Walsh, Joe Laura, Jack Engebretson and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent: John Pastor and Brian Duggan Council President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question of whether to approve the Application for Telecommunications Permit from Teleport Communications Group, Inc. (TCG Detroit) requesting approval for access to and ongoing use of the public right-of-ways within the City for a proposed telecommunications system utilizing approximately 14 25 miles of public right-of-way There were four (4) persons present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
