HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2001-09-12 PETITION 2001-03-02-05 33188 r MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING RE: PETITION 01-3-2-5, SUBMITTED BY HAGGERTY ROAD INVESTMENTS, REQUESTING tap WAIVER USE APPROVAL TO REMODEL AND EXPAND AN EXISTING BUILDING IN CONNECTION WITH A PROPOSAL TO OPERATE A FULL- SERVICE RESTAURANT ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF HAGGERTY ROAD BETWEEN SEVEN MILE ROAD AND EIGHT MILE ROAD IN THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 6 [CR 519-01] On September 12, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council Vice President Vandersloot at 7 32 p m. Present: John Walsh, John Pastor[8 25 p m departure], Joe Laura, Jack Engebretson and Val Vandersloot. Absent: Brian Duggan and Maureen Miller Brosnan Council Vice President Vandersloot stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934, M.0 L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to approve the request for waiver use approval to remodel and expand an existing building in connection with a proposal to operate a full-service restaurant on property located on the east side of Haggerty Road between Seven Mile Road and Eight Mile Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 6 There were six (6) persons present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
