PUBLIC HEARING RE. PETITION 01-05-01-06 SUBMITTED BY
GEORGE AND LILLIAN VITARELLI PROPOSING TO REZONE PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF NEWBURGH ROAD BETWEEN
SCHOOLCRAFT AND PERTH IN THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 19 FROM
RUF TO OS (Rural Urban Farm — '/2 Acre Lots to Office Services)
On September 24, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilmember
Brosnan at 7 33 p m Present: John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Joe Laura, Jack
Engebretson and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent: Val Vandersloot and John Walsh
Council President Brosnan stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth
in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act
(M.S.A. Section 5 2934, M.0 L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No
hr, 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is
holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to approve the request to rezone
property located on the west side of Newburgh Road between Schoolcraft and Perth in
the Southeast 1/4 of Section 19 from RUF to OS (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 Acre Lots to
Office Services)
There were eighteen (18) individuals present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 29 p m , Monday, September 24, 2001
