PUBLIC HEARING RE PETITION 00-10-2-31 SUBMITTED BY RITE
AID OF MICHIGAN, INC , REQUESTING WAIVER USE APPROVAL TO
UTILIZE AN SDD LIQUOR LICENSE IN CONNECTION WITH ITS PHARMACY
BUSINESS LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EIGHT MILE ROAD,
BETWEEN MERRIMAN ROAD AND MILBURN AVENUE, IN THE
NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 2
On September 24, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000
Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilmember
Brosnan at 8 30 p m. Present: John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Joe Laura, Jack
Engebretson and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent: Val Vandersloot and John Walsh
Council President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question
of whether to approve the request from Rite Aid of Michigan, Inc. for waiver use to utilize
an SDD liquor license in connection with its pharmacy business located at 31245 W
Eight Mile Road in the City of Livonia, Michigan
There were four (4) individuals present in the audience on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 8 37 p m , Monday, September 24, 2001
