MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RE: REQUEST FROM EVAN D. LYALL,
CEO, ROUSH INDUSTRIES, INC., PROPOSING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
AN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT IN ORDER TO EXPAND THEIR
OPERATIONS AT THEIR FACILITY LOCATED AT 36580 COMMERCE ROAD
[CR 40-01]
On February 26, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic
Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President Brosnan
at 7 01 p m. Present: Brian Duggan, Joe Laura, Jack Engebretson and Maureen Miller
Brosnan Absent: Val Vandersloot, John Walsh and John Pastor
Council President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question
of whether this City Council should approve the request for establishment of an Industrial
Development District from Evan D Lyall, CEO, Roush Industries, Inc., in order to expand
their operations for their facility located at 36580 Commerce Road encompassing an
area of approximately 1 30 acres lying in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 29
There were three (3) persons present on this matter
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 7 11 p m., Monday, February 26, 2001
