HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2001-03-05 PETITION 2000-10-01-20 32825 PUBLIC HEARING RE: PETITION 00-10-1-20 SUBMITTED BY LEO SOAVE REQUESTING TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EIGHT MILE ROAD BETWEEN ELLEN DRIVE AND GILL ROAD IN THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 4 FROM RUFB TO R-4 (RURAL URBAN FARM- 1/2 ACRE LOTS TO ONE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL-90' X 130' LOTS). [CR 13-01] On March 5, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council President Brosnan at 7 07 p m. Present: John Walsh, Joe Laura, Jack Engebretson and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent: Val Vandersloot, John Pastor and Brian Duggan Council President Brosnan stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to approve the request for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Eight Mile Road between Ellen Drive and Gill Road in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 4 from RUFB to R-4 (Rural Urban Farm — 1/2 acre lots to one-family residential —90' x 130' lots) There were eight (8) persons present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
