HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2001-03-28 PETITION 2000-11-01-21 32880 L PUBLIC HEARING RE: PETITION 00-11-1-21 SUBMITTED BY JAMES MORPHEW REQUESTING TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF FARMINGTON ROAD BETWEEN FIVE MILE ROAD AND LYNDON AVENUE IN THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 21 FROM R-2 TO C-1 (One Family Residential — 70' x 120' Lots to General Business) On March 28, 2001, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Council Vice President Vandersloot at 700 p m. Present: John Pastor, Joe Laura, Jack Engebretson and Val Vandersloot. Absent: John Walsh, Brian Duggan and Maureen Miller Brosnan. Council Vice President Vandersloot stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M S.A. Section 5.2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of L Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to approve the request for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Farmington Road between Five Mile Road and Lyndon Avenue in the N E 1/4 of Section 21 from R-2 to C-1 (One Family Residential — 70' x 120' Lots to Local Business) There were twenty (20) persons present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
