HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2000-09-20 PETITION 2000-04-02-18 32549 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RE: PETITION 00-4-2-18 SUBMITTED BY BOGART'S BILLIARD CAFE REQUESTING WAIVER USE APPROVAL TO UTILIZE A CLASS C LICENSE IN CONNECTION WITH A BILLIARD PARLOR PROPOSED TO BE LOCATED WITHIN SHELDEN CENTER ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF PLYMOUTH ROAD BETWEEN FARMINGTON ROAD AND WOODRING AVENUE IN THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 34. (CR 501-00) On September 20, 2000, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Acting President Laura at 7.01 p m Present: Brian Duggan, John Pastor, Jack Engebretson and Joe Laura. Absent: Val Vandersloot, John J Walsh and Maureen Miller Brosnan Acting President Laura stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to approve the proposed waiver use to utilize a Class C license in connection with a billiard parlor proposed to be located within Shelden Center on the south side of Plymouth Road between Farmington Road and Woodring Avenue in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 34 There were three (3) persons present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
