HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2000-11-29 IFEC ELRING KLINGER 32674 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RE• REQUEST FOR AN INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE FROM RICHARD McLAUGHLIN, VICE PRESIDENT, ELRING KLINGER OF NORTH AMERICA, INC., FOR AN ADDITION TO THEIR BUILDING LOCATED AT 35955 VERONICA AVENUE AND FOR MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT TO BE USED IN THE PRODUCTION OF CYLINDER HEAD GASKETS AND HEAT SHIELDING COMPONENTS USED IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY (IDD No. 62) (CR 747-00) On November 29, 2000, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and this item was called to order by President Brosnan at 7 00 p m Present: Brian Duggan, Joe Laura, Jack Engebretson, Vai Vandersloot, John Walsh, John Pastor, and Brosnan Absent: None President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question of whether this City Council should approve the Application for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate from Richard McLaughlin, Vice President, Elring Klinger of North America, Inc , re for an additional to their building and for manufacturing equipment to be used in the production of cylinder head gaskets and heat shielding components used in the automotive industry located at 35955 Veronica Avenue located within City of Livonia Industrial Development District No 62 There were fourteen (14) persons present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
