HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2000-05-22 PETITION 2000-02-02-05 32316 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RE Petition 00-2-2-5 SUBMITTED BY FULCRUM REAL ESTATE, L.L.C., ON BEHALF OF WINTERGARDEN TAVERN, L.L.C., REQUESTING WAIVER USE APPROVAL TO EXPAND THE LIQUOR LICENSE SERVING AREA IN AN EXISTING BUILDING LOCATED ON THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SEVEN MILE ROAD AND FARMINGTON ROAD IN THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 3, WHICH PROPERTY IS ZONED C-2. On May 22, 2000, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Brosnan at 7 00 p m. Present: John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Joe Laura and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent. Val Vandersloot, John Walsh and Jack Engebretson Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen(15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled President Brosnan stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5 2934, M C L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relevant to request for Waiver Use approval to expand the liquor license serving area in an existing building located on the northeast corner of Seven Mile Road and Farmington Road in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 3 There were seven (7) persons present on these matters Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. JO McCOTTER, CITY CLERK 32317 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON REZONING PETITIONS On May 31, 2000, two hearings were held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and were called to order by President Brosnan at 7 00 p m. Section 5.2934, M.0 L.A. 125 584), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing to determine whether or not to amend Section 18 17 of Zoning Ordinance No 543 for the purpose of granting a change in zoning for the following Petition 99-6-1-6, as amended, submitted by Marvin Walkon for a change of zoning of property located on the west side of Newburgh Road between Pembroke Avenue and St. Martins Avenue in the N E. 1/4 of Section 6 from RUFC to R-C (Rural Urban Farm --1,4 acre lots to Condominium Residential) (CR 187- 00, as amended and revised by CR 312-00) Petition 00-2-1-3 by Leo Soave requesting to rezone property located on the south side of Clarita Avenue between Middlebelt Road and Melvin Avenue (29705 Clarita) in the N E 1/4 of Section 11 from R-5 to R-1 (One Family Residential — 100' x 150' lots to One Family Residential —60' x 120' lots) (CR 277-00) There were fourteen (13) persons present on these matters Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
