HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2000-08-21 IFEC GM POWERTRAIN 32490 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RE: REQUEST FOR AN INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE FROM GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION, GM POWERTRAIN — LIVONIA OPERATIONS, DATED MAY 26, 2000, COVERING NEW INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES TO BE LOCATED WITHIN CITY OF LIVONIA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 2 On August 21, 2000, three(3) hearings were held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and were called to order by President Brosnan at TOO p m. Present: John Walsh, John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Joe Laura, Jack Engebretson and Maureen Brosnan. Absent: Val Vandersloot. President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question of whether this City Council should approve the Application for Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificate from General Motors Corporation, GM Powertrain — Livonia Operations, dated May 26, 2000, covering new industrial facilities to be located within City of Livonia Industrial Development District No 2 There were nine(9) persons present in the audience Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
