HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2000-02-07 PETITION 1999-09-06-04 32080 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RE: PETITION 99-9-6-4 BY THE CITY fi PLANNING COMMISSION, PURSUANT TO CR 608-99 AND SECTION 23.01(a) OF ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 543, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF 611' THE CITY OF LIVONIA, AS AMENDED, TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT TO AMEND SECTION 2.03 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE A SPECIFIC DEFINITION OF "MAJOR THOROUGHFARE". (CR 847-99) On February 7, 2000, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Brosnan at 7 05 p m Present: John Pastor, Brian Duggan, Jack Engebretson and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent: Val Vandersloot, John Walsh and Joe Laura President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question of whether this City Council should approve Petition 99-9-6-4 submitted by the City Planning Commission, pursuant to CR 608-99 and Section 23 01(a) of Zoning Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, as amended, to determine whether or not to amend Section 2 03 of the Zoning Ordinance to provide a specific definition of "major thoroughfare" There were three (3) persons present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
