HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 2000-03-20 PETITION 1999-11-01-20 32159 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING RE: PETITION 99-11-1-20 SUBMITTED BY LEO SOAVE BUILDERS, FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF SIX MILE ROAD BETWEEN OPORTO STREET AND MIDDLEBELT ROAD IN THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 14 FROM RUFA TO R-1 (Rural Urban Farm 1/2 Acre Lots to One Family Residential — 60' x 120' Lots) On March 20, 2000, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by President Brosnan at 7 17 p m. Present: Val Vandersloot, John Walsh, John Pastor, Jack Engebretson and Maureen Miller Brosnan Absent: Brian Duggan and Joe Laura President Brosnan stated that this was a public hearing on the question of whether this City Council should approve Petition 99-11-1-20 submitted by Leo Soave Builders, for a change of zoning of property located on the South side of Six Mile Road between Oporto Street and Middlebelt Road in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14 from RUFA to R-1 There were twenty-one (21) persons present on this matter Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
