HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1968-09-16 SAD GLENDALE AVE 9881 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL RELATIVE TO INSTALLING PAVING IMPROVEMENTS ON GLENDALE AVENUE IN SECTION 27 On September 16, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President of the Council at approximately 10:10 P. M. Present--Robert E. McCann, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent-- Edward H. McNamara. The Vice-President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of reviewing the assessment roll for the installation of paving improvements on Glendale Avenue from Farmington Road to a point approximately 1,260 feet east of Farmington Road in Section 27 of the City of Livonia. There were seven people in the audience. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. The public hearing was declared closed at 10:50 P. M., September 16, 1968. ADDISON W. BACPWair Clerk
