HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1968-06-17 NECESSITY HENRY RUFF 9666 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF COMPLETING PAVEMENT ON THE WEST SIDE OF HENRY RUFF RD. IMMEDIATELY N. OF LYNDON AVENUE (NW CORNER) On June 17, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:45 P. M. Present--Edward H. McNamara, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No 401, as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of completing the pavement on the west side of Henry Ruff Road immediately north of Lyndon Avenue (northwest corner), Section 23, of the City of Livonia. There were twelve people in the audience. There were no comments from the audience. A transcript of this hearing is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
