HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1967-06-28 PETITION 1966-11-01-33 8833 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS LOn June 28, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President of the Council at approximately 8:32 P. M. Present--Robert F. Nash, Rudolf R. Kleinert, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Peter A. Ventura, Edward H. McNamara, Jerry Raymond, and Jack Salvadore. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hear- ing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed changes and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The Vice-President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act, (M.B.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is hold- ing a public hearing relative to requests for various changes of zoning within the City. Petition 66-11-1-33, submitted by Harry Hartunian, 11684 Greenview, Detroit, Michigan, for a change of zoning in Section 35 from R-1 to C-l. There were approximately fourteen people in the audience. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. Petition 67-2-1-3, submitted by Donald G. Van Every, Van-Allen Builders, Inc., 25255 Southfield, Southfield, Michigan, for a change of zoning in Section 11 from R1A to R-7. There were approximately thirteen people in the audience. Rodney Kropf, attorney for Van-Allen Builders, and Donald Van Every spoke in behalf of the petition. There were no comments from members of the audience. Petition 67-3-1-9, submitted by Slavik Builders, Inc., 10450 W. Nine Mile, LOak Park, Michigan, for a change of zoning in Section 10 from PS to C-1. Comments regarding this petition were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. 8834 There were six people in the audience regarding Petition 67-3-1-9.
