HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1967-09-13 SAD LYNDON AVE 8973 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL RELATIVE TO THE INSTALLATION OF A WATER MAIN ON LYNDON AVENUE BETWEEN MIDDLEBELT ROAD AND HENRY RUFF On September 13, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:19 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura, Edward H. McNamara, Jerry Raymond, Jack Salvadore, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert and Robert F. Nash. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 101, as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the purpose of review- ing the assessment roll for the installation of a water main on Lyndon Avenue between Middlebelt Road and Henry Ruff Road in Section 23, City of Livonia. There were six people in the audience. Mr. Gerald A. Goray, 770 South Adams Road, Birmingham, Michigan, Attorney for Gordon-Begin Company, submitted an oral and written objection to the Assessment Roll a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further comments, the public hearing was declared closed at 9:06 P. M. , September 13, 1967. ADDISON W. BACON, ity Clerk
