HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1967-11-06 NECESSITY VARIOUS SUBS 9104 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO THE INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS IN VARIOUS SUBDIVISIONS IN SECTION 17 On November 6, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:45 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Edward H. McNamara, Jerry Raymond, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Jack Salvadore. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity for the installation of street lights in Judson Gardens Subdivision, L Judson Gardens Subdivision #2, Renwick Park Subdivision, Part of Kingsbury Heights Subdivision #3 & Bureau of Taxation Parcel 1771bl, E2a, in Section 17, City of Livonia. There was no one in the audience interested in the above matter. Discussion was held by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
