HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1967-06-07 NECESSITY CAVOUR AVENUE 8779 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING STREET PAVING ON CAVOUR AVENUE NORTH OF FIVE MILE, SEC. 13 On June 7, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Chairman, Councilman Milligan, at approximately 8:10 P. M. Present--Edward G. Milligan, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Edward H. McNamara, and Jerry Raymond. Absent--Peter A. Ventura, Robert F. Nash, and Jack Salvadore. Councilman Milligan stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assess- ment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to the property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the purpose of L determining the necessity for the installation of street paving on Cavour Avenue, North of Five Mile Road in the S. W. 1/4 of Section 13, City of Livonia. There were approximately nine people in the audience. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
