HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1967-10-30 BUDGET 9080 PUBLIC HEARING October 30, 1967 Proposed Budget for the Period Beginning December 1, 1967 to November 30, 1968 Pursuant to Section 4 and 5, Chapter VII of the Charter of the City of Livonia, a public hearing was held on October 30, 1967, at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, on the proposed budget of the City of Livonia for the year commencing December 1, 1967, and ending November 30, 1968. The public hearing was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:07 P. M. Members present were: Peter A. Ventura, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Jerry Raymond and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Edward H. McNamara, Robert F. Nash, and Jack Salvadore. The City Clerk presented to the Council satisfactory evidence that proper notice of this public hearing had been duly published at least one week in advance of such hearing by the City Clerk in the Livonia Observer, the official newspaper, and that there had been full compliance with the provisions of the City Charter. Due consideration was given by the Council to comments on the proposed budget. There were three persons in the audience. The President declared the public hearing closed at approximately 8:15 P.
