HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1967-06-07 SAD LYNDON AVE 8781 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR INSTALLATION OF STREET PAVING ON LYNDON AVENUE IN SECTION 23 On June 7, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Chairman, Councilman Milligan, at approximately 9:12 P. M. Present--Edward G. Milligan, Rudolf R. Kleinert, and Jerry Raymond. Absent--Peter A. Ventura, Edward H. McNamara, Robert F. Nash, and Jack Salvadore. Councilman Milligan stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the purpose of reviewing the assessment roll for the installation of street paving on Lyndon Avenue between Middlebelt and Henry Ruff in Section 23 in the City of Livonia, Michigan. There were three people in the audience. Mr. William Ponder, 32510 Plymouth Rd., representing Gordon Begin, stated that they are not opposed to paying their share but object to being assessed for the school's share. There being no further comments, the public hearing was declared closed at 9:15 P. M., June 7, 1967. ADDISON W. BACON Ci Cl: k
