HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1967-02-08 NECESSITY SECTION 23 Page 8470 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING PAVING ON LYNDON AVENUE IN SECTION 23 On February 8, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at approximately 8:30 P. M. Present--Robert F. Nash, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Edward H. McNamara, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, and Jack Salvadore. The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose L of determining the necessity for the installation of paving on Lyndon Avenue between Middlebelt and Henry Ruff Road in Section 23 of the City of Livonia. There were five people in the audience. Questions and comments by interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
