HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1966-08-24 SAD SECTION 36 Page 8103 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR PAVING ON ARCOLA AVENUE IN NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 36, CITY OF LIVONIA On August 24, 1966, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President of the Council at approximately 7:40 P. M. Present--*Peter A. Ventura, Robert F. Nash, *Edward G. Milligan, and Jerry Raymond. Absent--Jack Salvadore, Rudolf R. Kleinert, and Edward H. McNamara. The Vice-President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of review- ing the assessment roll for the installation of paving on Arcola Avenue from Plymouth Road South to West Chicago in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 36, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were approximately twenty-three people present in the audience. *President Ventura arrived at 7:50 P. M. and presided over the balance of the hearing. *Councilman Milligan arrived at the hearing at 8:02 P. M. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council.
