MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING
PAVING AND STORM SEWERS ON BROOKFIELD AND FAIRFIELD AVENUE
On September 28, 1966, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Acting President
of the Council at approximately 8:10 P. M. Present--Rudolf R. Kleinert and Edward G.
Milligan. Absent--Peter A. Ventura, Robert F. Nash, Jack Salvadore, Edward H.
McNamara, and Jerry Raymond.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing
duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 1401,
as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of deter-
mining the necessity for the installation of paving and storm sewers on Brookfield
and Fairfield Avenue in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 22, of the City of Livonia.
There were approximately seven people present in the audience.
Questions and comments by interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
There were no objectors to the street paving and storm sewers.
There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed
at approximately 8:46 P. M. , September 28, 1966.
