HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1966-10-05 SAD SECTION 23 Page 8203 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL RELATIVE TO DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT IN SECTION 23 On October 5, 1966, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice-President of the Council at approximately 8:05 P. M. Present--Robert F. Nash, Rudolf R. Kleinert, *Jerry Raymond, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Peter A. Ventura, Edward H. McNamara, and Jack Salvadore. The Vice-President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assess- ment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 1401, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of reviewing the assessment roll for the installation of a tile drain together with necessary catch basins or inlets for a self-centering perforated tile sewer with pea gravel backfill in Belle-Mar and Lyndon Meadows Subdivisions in the S. E. 1/4 of Section 23, City of Livonia, Michigan. There were four people present in the audience. ,Councilman Raymond arrived at the Hearing at 8:10 P. M. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8:30 P. M. , October 5, 1966. ADDISON W. BACOq, y lerk
