HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1965-09-27 SAD NEWMAN JOY SUB Page 7455 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET LIGHTS IN ' JOY SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 36 OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA On September 27, 1965, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:00 P. M. . Present--Rudolf R Kleinert, Peter A Ventura, John F Dooley, James R McCann, Edward H McNamara and Edward G Milligan. Absent-- Charles J Pinto The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of review- ing the assessment roll for the installation of a street lighting system in the Newman Joy Subdivision, on Hartel, Olson and Oxbow streets in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 36 of the City of Livonia. Questions and comments by interested persons were given due consideration by the Council. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8.10 P.
