HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1965-12-13 PETITION 1965-08-01-01 Page 7609 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS On December 13, 1965, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:01 P. M. Present--Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura, Charles J. Pinto, Edward G. Milligan, John F. Dooley, Edward H. McNamara and *James R. McCann. Absent--None. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed changes and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act. (M.S.A.Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 5113, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia held a public hearing relative to requests for various changes of zoning within the City. Petition No. 65-8-1-1, for change of zoning in Section 24 from R-1 to C-2, submitted by Walter J. Abraham, 29127 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan. Comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council. *Councilman McCann arrived at the Public Hearing at 8:20 P. M. Petition No. 65-8-1-25, for change of zoning in Section 21 from R-2 to C-2, submitted by Rodney C. Kropf for Harry S. Wolfe, 32398 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council. Councilman Dooley left the Public Hearing at 9:20 P. M. Petition No. 65-8-1-31, for change of zoning in Section 33 from R-7 to RUF. There were no objectors at the Public Hearing relative to this petition.
