HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1966-01-10 PETITION 196-08-01-27 Page 7652 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS On January 10, 1966, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:05 P. M. Present--Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura, Charles J. Pinto, and Edward H. McNamara. Absent-- Edward G. Milligan, John F. Dooley, and James R. McCann. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed changes and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled. The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City Zoning Act. (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia held a public hearing relative to requests for various changes of zoning within the City. Petition No. 65-8-1-27, for change of zoning in Section 23 from R-2-A to R-3; and Petition No. 65-9-1-36, for change of zoning in Section 23 from R-3 to R-3-B. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due considera- tion by the Council. Petition 65-8-1-29, for change of zoning an Section 11 from R-5 to C-2, submitted by Donald and Nettie Frick, 19007 Middlebelt, Livonia, Michigan. There were no objectors present regarding this petition. Petition 65-9-1-34, for change of zoning in Section 22 from C-2 to PS. There were no objectors present regarding this petition. Petition No. 65-9-1-35, for change of zoning in Section 29 from RUE to M-1. There were no objectors present regarding this petition.
