HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1962-10-22 NECESSITY SECTION 35 LIGHTS Page 5709 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS IN THE SOUTH 1/2 OF SECTICN 35, IN THE CITY OF LIVONIA On October 22, 1962, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilman John T. Daugherty, who acted as Chairman, at approximately 8:06 P. M. Present: John T. Daugherty, Edward H. McNamara, James R. McCann, John F. Dooley and William E. Parks. Absent: Sydney B. Bagnall and Rudolf R. Kleinert. The Chairman stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31, as amended, of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12 of said Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing street lighting in the Northeast 1/4, the Northwest 1/14, the Southwest 1/4 and the Southeast 1/4 of Section 35, in the City of Livonia. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8246 P.M., October 22, 1962. 2L((�^ Marl. Clark, City Clerk
