HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1963-02-25 SAD SECTION 35 Page 5886 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTING IN A POxiTION OF SECTION 35 On February 25, 1963, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at approximately 8:37 P. M. Present: Edward H. McNamara, William E. Parks, John F. Dooley, James R. McCann and Sydney B. Bagnall. Absent: John T. Daugherty and Rudolf R. Kleinert. The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401 of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 3.04 of said Ordinance No. 101, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of reviewing the Special Assessment Roll for installing street lighting in the Northeast 1/4, the Northwest 1/4, the Southwest 1/4 and the Southeast 1/4 of Section 35, in the City of Livonia. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
