HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1963-05-27 PETITION M-279 Page 6061 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON APPEAL OF PETITION M-279 On May 27, 1963, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:07 P. M. Present: Sydney B. Bagnall, John T. Daugherty, William E. Parks, Rudolf R. Kleinert, John F. Dooley and Edward H. McNamara. Absent: James R. McCann. Also present: William J. Strasser, Chief City Engineer. Pursuant to Ordinance No. 60, Section 17,02, the public hearing was held for the purpose of hearing an appeal from the decision of the City Planning Commission on Petition M-279 of Mr.and Mrs. Leonard E. Hunter, seeking approval to fill in a flood plain on property located on the southwest corner of Middlebelt Road and Munger in the Northeast 1/4 of Section JJi. The City Clerk has mailed notices to those persons having an interest in this matter, from a list supplied by the City Planner. Questions and comments by interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
