HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1959-03-23 NECESSITY ELMIRA 3866 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR INSTALLING SIDEWALKS ON ELMIRA AVENUE AND ORANGE LAWN AVENUE WHERE NECESSARY, BETWEEN HUBBARD AND i'IERRIMAN ROADS IN SECTION 34, CITY OF LIVONIA. On March 23, 1959, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice President of the Council at approximately 9:40 P. M. Present-- James R. McCann, Sydney B. Bagnall, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Robert Sasser and Frank O'Neill. Absent-- Austin T. Grant and Jack Salvadore. The Vice President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31, as amended, of the City of Livonia, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of determining whether or not to install sidewalks on Elmira sad Orangelawn Avenue where necessary, between Hubbard and Merriman Roads in Section 34 of the City of Livonia. Questions and comments by residents were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no further discussion, the Vice President declared the public hearing closed at approximately 10:24 P. M., March 23, 1959. W. Clark, City Clerk
