HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1958-01-09 NECESSITY ANTAGO Page 3234 MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING THE NECESSITY OF INSTALLING PAVING ON ANTAGO AVENUE BETWEEN GRAND RIvER AND LONG AVENUE, CITY OF LIVONIA, MICHIGAN. A Public Hearing for the purpose of determining whether or not to install paving on Antago Avenue between Grand River and Long Avenue, City of Livonia, was called to order at approximately 8:13 P. M., January 9, 1958, at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road,, Livonia, Michigan. The following members of the Council were present: Austin T. Grant, Frank O'Neill, David L. Jones, John T. Daugherty, Sydney B. Bagnall and Peter A. Ventura. Absent: Rudolf R. Kleinert. The President stated that the City Clerk has mailed notices to those persons awning land in the proposed Special Assessment District and that all other requirements of Ordinance No. 31, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", have been fulfilled; therefore the Public Hearing was declared open for comments. The President reviewed the estimate of the total cost of the project as submitted by the Engineering Department. Questions and comments of interested parties present were heard and given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. The President declared the Public Hearing duly adjourned at 8:25 P. M., January 9, 1958. Marie . Clark, City Clerk
