HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1957-02-28 NECESSITY LIGHTING 34,35,36 Page 2726 MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING THE NECESSITY OF' INSTALLING STREET LIGHTING IN PORTIONS OF SECTIONS 34, 35, 36. The President announced that the Public Hearing for the purpose of determin- ing the necessity of installing street lighting in portions of Sections 34, 35 and 36, City of Livonia, was called pursuant to Ordinance No. 31, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense There of by Special Assessment and Special Assessment Procedure." Notices of such hearing were mailed to all persons residing in said proposed special assessment district by the City Clerk, Marie W.Clark, in accordance with Section 12 of said Ordinance No. 31. The meeting was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Roads on February 28, 1957, and was called to order at approximately 7:50 P. M., by the President, with the following members of the Council present: Austin T. Grant, Sydney B. Bagnall, Rudolf R. Kleinert, David L. Jones, Peter A. Ventura and John T. Daugherty. Questions and comments by the people present were given due consideration by the Council, and at 8:55 P. M., the Public Hearing was duly adjourned to Thursday, March 114, 1957, at 8:00 o&clock P. M.
